More than 730,000 Sudanese refugees have crossed into Chad since the start of the war nearly one year ago, putting strain on existing resources and dwindling humanitarian assistance for the most vulnerable. USAID - US Agency for International Development disaster experts were just in eastern Chad to meet with our humanitarian partners who are providing emergency food assistance and other life-saving aid to refugees and host communities on the border.
